Hotel Istra Rovinj

Rovinj is situated in the middle of the west coast of the Istrian Peninsula. The city has for years been among the top holiday destinations in this part of Croatia. The highlight is of course the charming old town peninsula. A walk in thee small alleys among the old houses is a must do and I can recommend also to take a walk on the road which circles the peninsula. All visitors should of course also visit the Cathedral of St Euphemia which can be found on thee peek of the peninsula, those who do not suffer from altitude problems, should for sure visit to tower of the cathedral, from which there is a stunning view over the city.

Restaurants can be found every where in the old town part and along the Riva in Rovinj. From my experience the best restaurants are the ones not situated directly on the main streets.

The accommodation offer in Rovinj is diversified and the offer ranges from Hostels to 4 star luxury hotels. In the old town part mainly private apartments can be found, but also a few of the smaller hotels in Rovinj are situated here. Also in the city parts north and south of the old town plenty of private accommodation can be found, majority of the private apartments in Rovinj are within walking distance from the city centre. For those who like to stay at a campsite this is of course also possible in Rovinj. In a radius of 10 km from Rovinj 6 larger campsites can be found.
